Visual Query Tool provides compatibility with all ODBC compliant SQL engines, like Oracle, IBM-DB2, MS-SQL, or MYSQL, PostgreSQL, CA-Ingres and all popular desktop databases like dBase, FoxPro, Clipper, Ms-Access or MS-Excel through ODBC too.

Visual Query Tool runs on all Windows platforms, from 95/98, NT, Windows 2000, MS-Windows XP Home/Professional. It was designed specially for Windows NT/2000/XP.

The VQT Enterprise runs on all Windows supporting user-installable services, like Windows XP, Windows 200x or Windows NT.

Minimal Configuration

To achieve the best performance the requirements regarding the hardware are the same as for running Windows. The minimal accepted hardware/software configuration is:

• Intel or compatible 486-based PC or higher
• Microsoft Windows 95; recommended NT/2000/XP
• 16 Mb RAM memory; recommended 64Mb
• 20 Mb hard disk space, 40 Mb recommended
• Optionally Internet Explorer or Netscape installed for printing purposes

Tutorial

To run the basic Tutorial samples you must have MS-Access or MySQL compatible ODBC driver installed.
