The Goal

The primary target of this application is to offer a smart but easy-to-use tool for SQL data maintenance and query automation purposes.

How It Works?

After a preliminary pre-processing of tasks - replacing the formal parameter references with user-supplied values - Visual Query Tool executes the selected command, using standard ODBC connections. The result is displayed, printed or saved immediately.

Based on a NT-like service nucleus, VQT Enterprise schedules and executes compound commands (built as SQL, dbScript or dbIterate task sequence), automating at maximum the database relating tasks.

Benefits

It is a very flexible, easy to use tool. Due to its user-friendly interface, the learning curve is short, and the deployment costs are at a low level. Connecting to widely accepted ODBC drivers, VQT is able to manage and process a very large scale of SQL databases.
